Welcome to Ferntech,

We are delighted you have choosen to purchase your RC Helicopter from us.   Our company is based in Christchurch however we sell rc helicopters all over New Zealand, and the reason why people buy from us? Because we stock all the parts you need.

There is a few quick things you need to know about Helicopter.

1. S107G, U809 and S026 are INSIDE models only. They take 6 AA batteries in the remote

2. 9101 and 9104 are OUTSIDE models only..  They take 8 AA batteries in the remote.

3. The Arieal for the remote for 735-85 is hidden on the back of the box by the remote.

4. The Black Cable coming from the circuit board (nose of the helicopter) is the Arieal.  Do not cut this off! Do not unwind it from the helicopter.  The Lt-711 & 712 have them coiled up inside the nose.  It is best to fun the cable towards the tail.

5. The Red/Black cable with a Red connector is from the Helicopter Battery and plugs into the Helcopter to give it power.  This must be unplugged after flying.

6. Rc Helicopters (just the like the real ones) are slow when they start moving foward but will build speed.  You also should increase the throttle just a little to keep it at the same height.  Keep it moving foward and it will become faster.

6.

6. Helicopters don't like being to close to objects (including the ground)  This effects what is known as Ground Effect and the helicopter is more unstable or is attracted to the object ie wall, tree, house, fence.  You MUST keep at least 1 metre away at all times.

7. When learning to fly you MUST learn to HOVER!  - Bring the helicopter up to about 1 metre off the ground, hover it level for about 10seconds and then slowly allow the helicopter to settle back down on the ground.  Do this 10 times before
