Notes

  1. 4K/240fps video recording is only supported in Slow Motion mode.
  2. In both Normal and D-Log colour profiles, the maximum dynamic range reaches 14 stops. In Slow Motion mode, the actual dynamic range may be lower than 14 stops.
  3. The 10-bit D-Log colour profile is only supported in normal Video mode.
  4. 2× lossless zoom is not supported in Low-Light, Slow Motion, or Timelapse modes.
  5. Data was tested in a controlled laboratory environment. When using the provided USB-C to USB-C PD Cable (USB 3.1) or another USB 3.1-compliant cable, you can export data from built-in storage at a maximum transfer rate of 800 MB/s.
  6. ActiveTrack is not supported in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse, SpinShot modes, or when the gimbal is in FPV mode and the device is held horizontally.
  7. Four-channel output requires connecting the DJI Mic transmitter. Direct connection to the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
  8. Subject Lock Tracking and Registered Subject Priority are supported in Video and Photo Pro modes, as well as in Hyperlapse mode. They are not available in Panorama, Timelapse, or Motionlapse modes.

  • Zoom button: Press to switch between 1× zoom and 2× zoom. If the current zoom is 1×, you can press to switch to 2×. If the current zoom is another value, you can press to switch back to 1×. Press twice to switch to 4× zoom.
  • Custom button: Press and hold to activate the custom preset features, including Switch Gimbal Mode, Photo/Video, Quick Capture, Switch C1/C2, C1 Quick Capture, Rotate Gimbal, Recenter Gimbal, Enable/Disable Gimbal Lock, Enable/Disable Fill Light, Follow/FPV, and so on.

What is the usage of the new Subject Management feature on Osmo Pocket 4? On the Subject Management page, you can register and manage up to three subjects, which can be the same person if needed. Once registration is complete, you can enable the “Registered Subjects Only” gesture control option. When the “Registered Subject Priority” focus mode is on, Osmo Pocket 4 prioritizes focusing on the registered subject. Gimbal

How do I adjust the stabilization level on Osmo Pocket 4? Stabilization level adjustment is not supported. Use the 4 gimbal modes and 3 rotational speeds (Slow/Medium/Fast) to suit your scene.

How do I control the gimbal rotation direction?

  • Via Camera: Use the joystick or the screen slider to control the tilt and pan axes.
  • Via DJI Mimo App: Access the camera view and use the virtual joystick.

Accessories

Where are the microphones on Osmo Pocket 4? Do they support directional audio? There are three microphones, one on each non-screen side. Directional Audio is set to "All" by default. In Pro mode, you can switch between Front, Front and Back, and All.

How much operating time can the Battery Handle add? It can extend operating time by an additional 150 minutes (when recording 1080p/24fps video).

Can I use the Battery Handle to charge my phone? No.

How do I connect Osmo Pocket 4 to DJI Mic 3/Mic 2/Mic Mini? Swipe down on the screen to access system settings, select the wireless microphone, and enter linking mode. Follow on-screen instructions on the mic. It supports connection to up to two transmitters simultaneously.

Does Osmo Pocket 4 support connection to the original DJI Mic? It does not support direct connection; it needs to be used with the DJI Mic Receiver plugged in.

Are Osmo Pocket 4 accessories compatible with Osmo Pocket 3? Pocket 3 accessories can generally be used on Pocket 4. How do I update the firmware? The DJI Mimo app will automatically send firmware push messages. Follow the prompts.

Which channels are involved in OsmoAudio four-channel output?
