Notes
- Measured at a room temperature of 25° C (77° F), while recording 1080p/24fps (16:9) video, with RockSteady on, Wi-Fi off, Voice Control and Gesture Control off, and screens off. Data was collected in a controlled environment and should be taken as reference only. Actual battery life may vary when activating and using Osmo Action 6 in the European Union and UK, due to local regulations regarding operating temperature of the product. Please refer to the actual user experience.
- Two DJI microphones are required. Direct connection to the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
- Before use, close the Battery Compartment Cover and the USB-C Port Cover, and tighten the Glass Lens Cover. It is recommended to install Waterproof Case for long-term underwater shooting or in environments with high water impact pressure. Osmo Action 6 and its Waterproof Case have an IP68 waterproof rating. Do not use the camera in hot springs or extreme underwater environments, or let it come into contact with corrosive or unknown liquids. The shutter/record button is disabled at around 0.14 MPa (approximately 14m depth). The actual depth for disabling the shutter/record button may vary depending on water conditions, air pressure, and device status.
- In Auto mode, users can choose from five aperture ranges (f/2.0–f/4.0, f/2.2–f/4.0, f/2.4–f/4.0, f/2.6–f/4.0, and f/2.8–f/4.0), with f/2.0–f/4.0 set as the default. In Large Aperture (f/2.0) mode, the aperture is fixed at f/2.0. Aperture modes may be limited depending on the shooting modes and accessories. For details, refer to the FAQ page on the Osmo Action 6 official website.
- Osmo Action 6 Standard Combo does not include Osmo Action 6 Macro Lens, which is sold separately. When paired with the Macro Lens, the focus distance can be adjusted between 11 cm and 75 cm. The Macro Lens does not support underwater use (e.g., diving) and is splash-resistant only. When the Macro Lens is attached, certain shooting modes or functions may be restricted. Refer to the actual device display for details.
- For optimal results, the Starburst (f/4.0) aperture mode is recommended in urban night scenes brighter than 80 lux.
- SuperNight mode supports 10-bit color depth. It does not support HorizonBalancing, HorizonSteady, 155° ultra-wide FOV, or 4:3 aspect ratio. Certain aperture modes may not be available in SuperNight mode. For details, refer to the FAQ page on the Osmo Action 6 official website.
- The 10-bit D-Log M color mode can be enabled in standard video mode, Slow Motion mode, and Hyperlapse mode.
- To use 32× Super Slow Motion, you need to record a standard video at 1080p/240fps. After recording, you can apply the slow-motion effect with just one tap in the camera's playback interface. The 960fps frame rate is an equivalent generated via in-camera interpolation at 1080p, not native 4K.
- EIS is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes on Osmo Action 6. HorizonSteady and HorizonBalancing are supported for 1080p/2.7K/4K video (≤ 60fps) in a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 4K Custom videos with frame rates of 60fps or below.
- 2× lossless zoom is not supported when taking 38MP and 34MP photos, or in SuperNight, Subject Tracking, Slow Motion, and Timelapse modes.
- Only supported in 16:9 aspect ratio at frame rates below 100fps.
- This feature requires updating the firmware to the latest version.
- The water pressure gauge activates at a depth of 1 meter underwater and is only effective when the camera is submerged without a waterproof case.
- Either hand can be detected within 2-meter range. Do not cover head with hands. Raise hand and open palm to start or stop recording, or take a photo. The effective distance may vary with future firmware updates.
- Applicable to cycling data from Huawei Watch/Band, Apple Watch, Garmin devices, or third‑party FIT files.
- Osmo Action 6 Standard Combo does not include Osmo Action 6 FOV Boost Lens, which is sold separately. The FOV Boost Lens does not support underwater use (e.g., diving) and is splash-resistant only. When the FOV Boost Lens is attached, Slow Motion is not supported.
- Osmo Action 6's native FOV can reach up to 155°. When equipped with the FOV Boost Lens, Osmo Action 6's FOV expands to 182°. While 182° is the maximum optical FOV achievable with this design, the actual FOV during shooting may vary slightly due to distortion correction and stabilization settings.
- Applicable only to iOS devices and certain Android devices that support third-party live photo integration.
- Applicable to devices that support third-party Bluetooth remote-control protocols, including HUAWEI WATCH 5, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, Wuyang-Honda motorcycles (G150, F125, NSP), Amazfit watches (T-Rex Ultra, CheetahPro, Falcon), Magene bike computers (C506, C606, C706), Giant bike computers (PLANET G9), and etc. GPS Bluetooth remote controllers are sold separately.
- For USB 3.1 high-speed transfer, a USB 3.1 compatible cable is required and sold separately. In an interference-free environment, the wireless transfer speed of photos/videos stored in the built-in storage can reach up to 80 MB/s, while that of photos/videos stored on the SD card can reach up to 50 MB/s. The included USB-C to USB-C PD Cable (USB 3.1) supports transfer speeds up to 300 MB/s.
- Measured under laboratory conditions at 25° C (77° F), while using a USB-C charger that supports the standard PD 3.0 protocol with a maximum PD output power of 30 W or above, with the photo taking/video recording functions off and screens off. Data was collected in a controlled environment and should be taken as reference only.
- EIS is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes on Osmo Action 4 and Osmo Action 5 Pro. HorizonSteady only supports 1080p/2.7K video (≤ 60fps) in a 16:9 aspect ratio, and HorizonBalancing only supports 1080p/2.7K/4K video (≤ 60fps) in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Subject Tracking mode is only available in horizontal shooting and supports shooting up to 2.7K/60fps video in both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. When Osmo Action 6 Macro Lens is attached, Subject Tracking is not supported.
- Measured under laboratory conditions at -20° C (-4° F) and 45° C (113° F) while recording 1080p/24fps (16:9) video, with RockSteady on, Wi-Fi off, and screens off. The maximum continuous recording times at -20° C (-4° F) and 45° C (113° F) were 167 minutes and 190 minutes, respectively. Data was collected in a controlled environment and should be taken as reference only.
