Features

The Emlid Reach RX2 is a compact RTK rover that evolves the Reach RX model by adding IMU tilt compensation and all-band RTK support. It is designed to provide centimetre-level precision and is pocket-sized and lightweight, weighing only 280 g. The RX2 makes high-precision results accessible even for users who are not professional surveyors, with no training required.

IMU Tilt Compensation

The RX2 features IMU tilt compensation, allowing you to accurately measure points with a tilted pole without needing to level it. This maintains centimetre-level accuracy and is ideal for working near walls, slopes, or in tight spaces. The IMU chip is immune to magnetic disturbances, so it works well near electronics, cars, and large metal constructions. Each device is factory-calibrated and initialises on-site in just 7–10 seconds.

All-Band GNSS Performance

The receiver’s GNSS chip supports all existing constellations and bands, with 672 channels. It tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC, providing stable performance even in urban areas or under tree canopy. It gets corrections from any CORS or NTRIP service using the RTCM3 input data format. The device cannot be used as a base and does not log raw data for PPK.

Software Integration and Applications

The Reach RX2 is MFi-certified and works with both iOS and Android. It integrates with the Emlid Flow mobile app and the Emlid Flow 360 cloud platform. It is also compatible with other GIS apps, including ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, QField, and Mergin Maps. For terrestrial scanning, it works with PIX4Dcatch and other scanning apps. Common applications include GIS, utilities, landscaping, construction, and terrestrial scanning.
