The Emlid Reach RS4 Base Station Kit is a complete, high-precision GNSS solution designed for surveying, mapping, and navigation. Combining the flagship Emlid Reach RS4 receiver with an extension pole (30 cm), tribrach with optical plummet, rotating tribrach adapter, and an aluminium tripod, this kit provides everything required for a convenient, ready-to-go base station setup in the field.

Built for speed and reliability, the Reach RS4 features an improved tilt compensation algorithm, all-band tracking, dual-band radio communications, and an IP68-rated magnesium alloy housing built to handle harsh environmental conditions.

Faster Tilt Compensation
Powered by a next-generation IMU, tilt compensation initialises in just 5 to 7 seconds with a few quick moves. Survey with confidence and maintain accuracy even when the pole is tilted.

All-Band GNSS Tracking
Tracks all major GNSS constellations and bands across 672 channels, offering enhanced multipath resistance and reliable fix performance under dense canopy.

Dual-Band Radio System
Equipped with both LoRa and UHF radios to send or receive corrections. The LoRa radio operates on 868/915 MHz for long-range communication up to 8 km, while the UHF radio (410–470 MHz) supports up to 2 W transmission power for seamless integration with third-party bases.

Aerospace-Grade Durability
Constructed from premium magnesium alloy, the receiver is dustproof and waterproof to IP68 standards, with an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C.

Quick-Release Mount
Features a backlash-free thread specifically designed for tilt workflows, ensuring stability and accurate alignment under pole tilt.

Built-in LTE Modem
Insert a Nano-SIM card to receive or broadcast NTRIP corrections directly over cellular networks without external hardware.

Extended Battery Life
The internal industrial-grade battery delivers up to 22 hours of raw data logging or 16 hours of RTK rover operation with tilt compensation. Connect an external power bank via USB-C for continuous operation.

RINEX Logging and Post-Processing
Records raw GNSS data in RINEX format for post-processing with Emlid Studio or third-party software. Fully compatible with OPUS, AUSPOS, and PPP services.

Emlid Software Integration

Emlid Flow
The mobile app handles field operations including receiver configuration, RINEX logging, point collection, and stakeout. Includes support for tilt compensation, coding, localisation, background WMS/WMTS maps, and multi-device sync.

Emlid Flow 360
Cloud-based project management accessible via web browser. Easily manage code libraries, add map layers, view satellite imagery, and export survey data.
