Next-Gen IMU Tilt Compensation
Powered by an upgraded IMU that initialises in just 5 to 7 seconds, the Reach RS4 allows you to survey with precision at tilt angles up to 60 degrees. It is calibration-free, immune to magnetic disturbances, and unaffected by nearby metal objects or electronics.
All-Band GNSS Tracking
Featuring 672 channels, the receiver tracks all major satellite constellations and bands, including L1, L2, L5, and L6 across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC. This delivers enhanced multipath resistance and maintains a robust fix under dense canopy or obstructed skies.
Dual-Band Radio System
Equipped with both LoRa (868/915 MHz) and UHF (410–470 MHz) radios to send or receive corrections. The LoRa radio offers long-range operation up to 8 km, while the UHF radio supports up to 2 W transmission power and TRIMTALK 450S protocols for broad fleet compatibility.
Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
Built to handle extreme conditions, the Reach RS4 body is constructed from lightweight magnesium alloy. It is dustproof and waterproof to IP68 standards, with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +65°C.
Quick-Release Mount
Features a backlash-free thread designed specifically for tilt workflows, ensuring stability and precise alignment under pole tilt.
Built-in LTE Modem
Insert a Nano-SIM card directly into the receiver to broadcast or receive NTRIP corrections over cellular networks without needing external hardware.
All-Day Battery Performance
The internal industrial-grade battery delivers up to 16 hours of RTK rover operation with active tilt compensation, or up to 22 hours of raw logging. Fast charging via USB-C Power Delivery ensures uninterrupted multi-day operations.
RINEX Logging and PPP Support
Records raw GNSS data in RINEX format for post-processing using Emlid Studio or third-party software. Raw logs are fully compatible with OPUS, AUSPOS, and PPP services.
